At our Spring 2017 General Body meeting we announced the intention of the organization to begin collecting details on members who are interested in mentorship and similar opportunities. We are now accepting applications for the mentorship pool. Our approach to mentorship is nontraditional in order to support the rolling nature of our membership and the lifestyle of busy working young professionals. We provide unique opportunities to interface with youth and students in a variety of settings and requirements. Each opportunity is unique and is usually a one-time affair, in some cases the event or opportunity is repeated on an annual basis. We do not provide long-term 1:1 mentorship opportunities.
- Our mentorship activities focus on high school and college students.
- We currently do not plan to engage in activities involving mentees under 15 years of age.
- Our opportunities are designed with busy working professionals in mind. They are 1-time in nature and are not ongoing personal 1:1 relationships with mentees.
- The mentees may be an entire auditorium of students or small group.
