Help us put on the largest bike ride in Detroit focused the homeless population: Handlebars for the Homeless! A ride to support the many outreach programs provided by the Neighborhood Service Organization.

This is our fourth year running this event with the Neighborhood Service Organization, and we have multiple role assignments, free food, t-shirts, games, mid-way stops, and even a cheer squad. Not to mention, the awesome young professionals you’ll meet along with local community members.

The event runs 7am-2pm, rain or shine. We have a primary shift and additional shorter shifts available. Volunteers will be recognized at a BYP event this coming fall. Breakfast snacks and a lunch will both be provided, along with a volunteer-exclusive performance athletic t-shirt.

• We strongly encourage people to sign-up for the full day shift (A-Team Volunteers) 
• Please opt-in for receiving text messages when you sign-up.
• You do not have to be “young”, “professional”, or Black to volunteer!
