An amazing, time telling film has been carefully crafted by James Baldwin and directed by Raoul Peck. It tells the story of despair and action of Black America, contrasting the height of racism and the civil rights movement, to where we are today (2016). This movie is part of the Wake Up call for 2017. Black Young Professionals will be hosting a mass viewing of this movie followed by a 30 minute discussion on the message the movie brings from Black History into today’s world.
