Connect and Socialize with Detroit’s Young Black Professionals at the newly opened Black and woman-owned Brix Wine
We’re back at it.
Join us for an afterwork escape of low-key schmoozing, yapping, and laughter at our Engage + Connect: Social Hour event! We bring together like-minded unpretentious individuals who seek to make new friends and associates across the metro Detroit area. This time, we’ll enjoy the fabulous vino collection at the Black and woman-owned Brix Wine located in Detroit’s Rivertown neighborhood.
This will be an indoor event 😅. So whether you’re looking to make new friends, explore potential collaborations, or simply have a good time, we got you.
Things being said about Brix if you haven’t been:
“It has a real neighborhood vibe to it that Detroiters can appreciate whether they’re nearby residents or visitors.”
– Drake Phifer
“I am impressed by Mikiah’s vision for Brix Wine to be a welcoming and inclusive space for all wine enthusiasts,”
– Detroit Deputy Mayor Todd Bettison
“Brix’s new 1,400-square-foot space at 1588 Franklin Street is a mix between a wine cellar and a cozy lounge, with hardwood floors, shelves of red and white wine stocked in one corner and dark red loveseats and small, wooden coffee tables taking up another.”
– Micah Walker, Bridge Detroit
The main seating area inside the new Brix Wine features red seating and wooden tables to give the space a wine-appropriate ambiance.
Light bites will be provided… until they’re gone.
So pull up on time so you can try out some of Brix’s wonderful charcuterie for free!
